All In One Desktops
In today’s computer market all in one desktops are becoming ever more popular. There are a number of reasons for this. So let’s review some of the factors that make all-in-one computers so desirable.
To begin, all in one desktops are far more compact than conventional tower desktops. We all know how big and cumbersome computer towers can be. They not only take a large amount of space and are hard to move around, but they can be a bit of an eyesore too.
With a tower it’s difficult to decide where to put it, you want ease of access but then you don’t want it taking up your desk space. An all in one desktop takes up very little room since there’s no CPU tower unit. Instead, all the components that make up a desktop, including motherboard, RAM and video card etc are built into the monitor.
Now, you might be imagining a huge monitor right now, but all in one desktops are incredibly slim considering they have the CPU integrated into the back of the computer monitor. This is because it’s not designed for expansion and all the computer components are tightly packed reducing empty space that you find in desktop towers. This makes them especially good at energy saving.
Some might say that they have all the benefits of a laptop but without the portability. In terms of using it anywhere other than on your desk, they are not as portable, but compared to tower desktops they are far less difficult to transport. In addition they do have the advantage of being better designed ergonomically in comparison to notebooks. Using desktops are just much more comfortable to use.
You’ll find that most an all in one PCs will have all the necessary paraphernalia so that you can literally plug it in and start using it straight away. Virtually all new all in one desktops come with a wireless keyboard and mouse. This is great for neat freaks like me who hate having cables strewn all over the place.
With less clutter it is certainly easier to organize your things and be more productive. They aren’t called all-in-one computer desktops for nothing. PC companies like HP Pavilion, eMachines, ASUS, Gateway, Sony VAIO and Acer produce some super innovative and technologically advanced all in ones that will astound you.
These days you can expect a variety of amazing integrated features as standard. This includes, webcam, speakers, mic, DVD rewritable drive, Wi-Fi and to top it all off widescreen HD quality display and touch-screen technology.
To boot, all in one PCs just look so incredibly sleek and cool and can enhance the look of every room. If you prefer the comfort of using a desktop but you don’t want the ‘bulk’ an all-in-one is the perfect choice.
